Please note that for the purposes of campaign finance and/or tax law, if applicable, your donation will have been made once all funds have been received by us for processing. This will generally be the same day that your wire transfers are made, if they are completed before 5pm Eastern Time on a (non-bank-holiday) weekday, and the next banking day otherwise.

Also please note that we cannot process any partial payment of the donation until all funds have been received.

By clicking the donate button below, I acknowledge that my payment is being made to Democracy Engine, who accepts the responsibility of distributing the funds to my designated recipient(s) in accordance with applicable campaign finance laws. My card or bank statement will show a payment to “Democracy Engine” or “DEMENG” and if there are any issues or discrepancies with the payment or I wish to revoke the payment, I can contact Democracy Engine at support@democracyengine.com. Democracy Engine will charge each recipient an applicable service fee.

All contributions to candidates for federal office are earmarked contributions within the meaning of 11 C.F.R. §110.6(b) to Democracy Engine Inc. PAC, which will forward the contribution to the campaign committee(s) of the designated candidate(s) within 10 days of receipt.

In the unlikely event that an endorsed candidate were to decline to accept these funds, that part of your contribution will be redesignated as a contribution to the Democracy Engine LLC.

Please note that should you make another contribution to an account of candidate who receives a portion of your Earmarked Contribution, that, when added to this contribution causes the aggregate amount of the contributions earmarked for a candidate to exceed the limit set by 11 C.F.R. §110.1(b)(1) (current limits can be found at https://www.fec.gov/help-candidates-and-committees/candidate-taking-receipts/contribution-limits/), an excessive contribution will have been made.
