Contributions or gifts to Biden Victory Fund and the Michigan Democratic Party are not tax deductible.

An individual can contribute as much as $730,600 to the Biden Victory Fund. An individual can contribute as much as $10,000 annually to the federal account of the Michigan Democratic Party. Federal Election Campaign Laws prohibit contributions from corporations, labor unions, and foreign nationals who are not admitted for permanent residence. All contributions must be made from personal funds and may not be reimbursed by any other person.

For Contributions to the Biden Victory Fund

The first $5,600/$10,000 from a person/multicandidate committee (“PAC”) will be allocated to Biden for President, with the first $2,800/$5,000 designated for the primary and the next $2,800/$5,000 for the general election. For contributions made after the primary, the full amount of the contribution, up to $2,800/$5,000, will be designated for the general election. The next $35,500/$15,000 from a person/PAC will be allocated to the DNC. The next $150,000/$75,000 from a person/PAC will be split equally among the Democratic state parties from AZ, CO, FL, GA, MI, MN, NC, NE, NH, NV, OH, PA, TX, VA, and WI. The next $110,000/$55,000 from a person/PAC will be split equally among the Democratic state parties from AL, DE, KS, LA, MA, MD, MS, NJ, NY, VT, and WV. The next $110,000/$55,000 from a person/PAC will be split equally among the Democratic state parties from AK, ID, IN, KY, ME, MO, MT, ND, NM, SC, and TN. Any additional funds will be allocated to the DNC, subject to applicable contribution limits.

A contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant or participants. The allocation formula above may change if following it would result in an excessive contribution. Contributions will be used in connection with federal elections, may be spent on any activity as each committee determines in its sole discretion, and will not be earmarked for any particular candidate. Biden Victory Fund does not accept contributions from corporations or their PACs, unions, federal contractors, national banks, those registered as federal lobbyists or under FARA, SEC-named executives of fossil fuel companies, or foreign nationals.

All contributions to candidates for federal office are earmarked contributions within the meaning of 11 C.F.R. §110.6(b) to Democracy Engine Inc. PAC, which will forward the contribution to the campaign committee(s) of the designated candidate(s) within 10 days of receipt.

In the unlikely event that an endorsed candidate were to decline to accept these funds, that part of your contribution will be redesignated as a contribution to the Democracy Engine LLC.

Please note that should you make another contribution to an account of candidate who receives a portion of your Earmarked Contribution, that, when added to this contribution causes the aggregate amount of the contributions earmarked for a candidate to exceed the limit set by 11 C.F.R. §110.1(b)(1) (current limits can be found at https://www.fec.gov/help-candidates-and-committees/candidate-taking-receipts/contribution-limits/), an excessive contribution will have been made.
